Our Approach

We integrate our beacon technology into your existing software, allowing you to automatically interact with your customers.

When a user comes in range of a beacon their smart device is automatically located through Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or any signal with a MAC Address.

Once a device is located, Comm-ence technology allows for highly customizable, automated interactions with the user.

Applications

On social media platforms, you can have your customers be prompted to check-in or invite friends upon walking into your space.

A customer walks into your a movie theater and their mobile device would recognize the location and either prompt the customer or automatically silence the customer’s phone and dim the back light.

Current sale items can be pushed to your customers’ phone when a customer gets close enough to certain items in your store.

Airliners can utilize our technology to prompt the user to or automatically switch passenger’s phones on airplane mode the moment the plane starts taxiing.

Similarly, our technology can be used
to prompt a user to or automatically switch their phone to driving mode upon entering their vehicle.

Your customers’ mobile device can be used as their house keys with automatic locks, work ID badge, etc. all based on proximity.

Let’s talk about the ways Comm-ence can enhance your interactions with customers.

The original Comm-ence technology was patented in 2011 and has since been awarded two additional patents.

The idea behind Comm-ence began in a University of Illinois classroom when our CEO observed that there was no solution for when classmates inevitably forgot to silence their phones.

The technology started with a Bluetooth antenna and software that automatically silenced phones and has since evolved into an interactive platform delivering custom solutions to businesses looking to connect with their customers.
